Knowledge center ARhus is an innovative platform for lifelong and life-wide learning that focuses on learning, entrepreneurship and innovation and wants to be a home of the city for anyone who wishes to develop in and outside Roeselare. A home that provides access to knowledge, learning and partners that make this mission possible. We strive for a high-quality service and are committed to always securely manage your personal information.
Why do we need your data?
We need your data to perform our legally required assignments, assignments of general interest or our agreement with you. In most cases it is necessary that you make this information available to enjoy our services.
When necessary, we will ask for your permission to process your data. If you no longer wish to rely on that service, you can always withdraw your consent.
We can use your contact details to contact you in the context of the services you're using. We do this to the extent necessary to provide services, but also to inform you, for example, about changes to our offer or comparable new services. When participating in activities in collaboration with partners, it is possible that your data will be shared if this partner must have access to this data in the context of a legal obligation.
The computer says "no"
We do not use automatic decisions through computer systems whether or not to provide services to citizens.
Information within Europe
We prefer to keep your information as close to home as possible so that we are sure about data protection, unless we have no other solution. If we do manage your data outside of Europe, we only do this in applications that provide sufficient guarantees regarding the protection of your data.
We store data as required by law. We do not keep your data longer than necessary. We will then safely destroy them.
You're in control of your data
As a citizen, you remain in charge of your data. You can always request a file on what data we keep about you and ask, among other things, to adjust or delete this, unless the law prevents this.
When things go wrong
We take appropriate security measures. But if your data has been intentionally or unintentionally ended up in the wrong hands, we will always keep you informed.
